One Time: Episode 2 continued...

Episode 2


Continued:

We come back to the discussion between Tony and Katrina (the waitress). It turns out that Katrina isn't a full time waitress, and is doing part time jobs, hence her being almost 'everwhere' Tony and the gang go to.

Tony: "So you go to the same school as me and the rest of my friends?"

Katrina: "Yup, and it's funny because despite that I've never bumped into you or any of your friends. That's interesting."

Tony scratches his head in disbelief. All the while they were schoolmates
but not a single sighting or encounter in any part of the school. The school area
is quite big, not to mention it is the biggest high school in this city.

Katrina: "So your friends went off their own ways and left you here huh?"

Tony: "Yeah, that's normal. I mean they'll be back. They just go off in a whim at times. And I know them enough that they won't stay long to where they're going to anyways, so I'll just wait for them here."

Katrina: "That's nice. It means you guys have a good bond and trust each other."

Tony: "Eh, he he he. I hope so. Wait... so do you live close by?"

Katrina: "Just a mile away from school. I drive that yellow Mini Cooper with the black racing stripes."

Tony: "Oooh, that car is yours? So neat! I always notice that car and was wondering who the owner was. Well, I guess I know now. Very nice Mini Cooper you have!"

Katrina: "Why, thank you. And plus now, you know who the owner is!"

Tony:"So I guess you're friends with Anastasia?"

Katrina looks at Tony sharply.

Katrina: "And why do you say that? I do know her being the cheer leading team captain, but I've never been one of her friends."

Tony: "Oh sorry, I just assumed, since you seem to be pretty outgoing."

Katrina: "Ha ha ha, well looks can deceive. Are you and your friends part of Anatasia's group?"

Tony: "Nope, definitely not! Well, for starters my friends, specially Ashley and April, don't like her that much."

Katrina: "Hmmm, I see. Interesting! Let me write that down in my diary..."

Tony: "Hey! Write it where?? Geez...."

As the two continue to converse, we switch over to Paula and April...

One Time: Episode 2

Got some updates for 'One Time' from one of the authors. This is still a work in progress though, but I just wanted to start posting it already here so that the authors have an idea how it looks like on an actual posting.

Plus got some new drawings in for this part of the story/skit.

One Time: Episode 2

We find Tony and the gang still at the mall, where they finally met up with a couple more of their friends
who they have been waiting on, Luke and Paula.

Waitress: Ooh! Triple date!
Tony: Gyaaahhhh!!! What the! You again???

The two newcomers, Luke and Paula, notice Ashley beside Tony.
Luke and Paula: Hey Tony, who is that beside you?

Ashely first looks at the waitress, but then notices Luke and Paula looking at her.

Ashley: Who... me?
Luke: Yeah you.
Ashley: Tony and Jesse's Cousin.
April: Wait, Tony, you are JMac's cousin?
Tony: No... Wait where did you hear that from?
April: *points to Jesse*
Tony: JES, grrrrr!
Jesse: Sorry!

Then April and Paula recognize each other.
April: Paula!
Paula: April! Ooh I gotta show you what I bought *goes away with April*
Ashley: Oh! Me too!
Paula: *shrugs* Oh well, fine then!


Paula grabs April, "Oooh, I gotta show you what I bought!!!"
As the three girls leave, Luke looks at Jesse and signals to him to come over.

Luke: Jesse come here, let's check out the new game store over there!
Jesse: Ok! *leaves with Luke*

The two leave and forget about Tony, who notices it and tries to call out to them.

Tony: Wait for me! *sighs* It's just me...now here
Waitress: Well, theres me...hee-hee! Uh... by the way,how old are you, if you don't mind me asking?
Tony: Gyaaaah!! You're still here?!!?

Tony looks at the waitress suspiciously.

Tony: Why? Oh, well I'm 17. Jesse is 15, and that other guy Luke is 16.

Waitress: Ah, I'm 16 myself, and my name is Katrina... and I kinda like you.

Tony couldn't believe what he heard and blushed a bit.

Tony: Whoa, whoa, there!! A little too much information! But, well, since you mentioned your name, it'd be rude for me not to mention my name. I'm Tony.

Katrina apologizes upon seeing Tony's reaction.
Katrina: Oh, sorry for the 'i kinda like you' remark, don't mind it. I was just being silly!
Tony: Ah...sure, no problem, it's ok. Say.....you're not really a waitress, are you?

Katrina scratches her head and replies.
Katrina: Well no, at least not a full time waitress, just part time. I just needed an excuse, and some way to earn extra money for college. And you aren't really that other girl's boyfriend, right?


Katrina': "Well no, at least not a full time waitress, just part time. I needed an excuse..."
Tony looks up in the air...and then scratches his head too...
Tony: What? Er...yeah.... she's really my cousin.

Katrina: Oh.... thats why she said she wasn't your cousin! She wanted to make it look like you two weren't related.

Tony mumbles to himself: Oh boy, this is going to be a loooong day....

A short story evolves!

*** Epilogue: We had just come from a nice weekend at the beach with a good friend of mine and his family, and afterwards we headed to the nearest Outlet Mall. After scouring around the place, I see 2 of my friend's daughters already sitting by the designated waiting area.

Sort of bored, we decided to make a 'story' on the fly...and this is the outcome. It actually looks more like a movie/tv script than a conventional story, but good job to the two 'authors' for their creativity and for making this in such a short time. Maybe we can work on part 2 now? ;-) ***

One Time: Episode 1

It was a sunday afternoon in the mall. Tony, April, and Jesse were out and about and was expecting to meet a group of friends.

Tony: where on earth are they? they said to meet here at 2
April: Yeah!!! And they are 30 minutes late! Were gonna be late.
Jesse: Ok! Gal. Don't worry
Tony: Easy for you to say! I'm getting something to eat.

Tony stands up and heads to the vending machine, leaving Jesse and April*.

April: Oh ok. Hey Jesse are you a McCartney? If you are, Yo! What's up JMac!?! *sees Justin* oh look here comes Justin! Wait... Am I the only girl here?
Jesse: No! JMac's my cousin. G5, G5

Tony gets his drink and even before he can open it, someone taps his shoulder

Tony: Whoa!! What the?
Girl: Oh sorry! Don't u remember me?

*Tony looks at the brunette girl and wonders who she is...*

Brunette Girl: wow you really don't remember? I'm your cousin... You met me a few years ago!
Tony: Huh?!? Ashley is that you?
Ashley: Ah finally you remember! What are you doing here at the mall?
Tony: well, I don't really remember you I just recognize you.
Waitress: Can I get your order?
Ashley: Wha?!?!? Where did u come from all of a sudden???
Waitress: oh sorry I just saw a lovely couple on the street and wanted to take their order...
Tony: What?!? We are NOT a-
Ashley: A... uh... Cousins. We're not cousins
Waitress: Oh, ok then. Can I take your order then my lovely couple?
Tony: What??? No!
Waitress: Why not?
Ashley: Because we have to go to catch a... plane
Waitress: Ah! Love is in the air! *skips away*
Tony: Awkward Moments! And why 'catch a plane???
Ashley: *giggles*

Back to Jesse and April...

April: Jesse! Look across the street? Isn't that girl your cousin Ashley?
Jesse: Yeah...but I thought she was in Germany. What brings her here? She's a troublemaker....

Tony and Ashley walks over to where April and Jesse were sitting down. All eyes were on the newcomer.

Tony: Hey Jes! Ashley is here!
Jesse: Well... Duh! I can see ya know!
Ashley: Oh hey April!
April: Hey! Did Jaclyn come too?
Ashley: Oh yeah! But she said she needed to rest.
Jesse: Jaclyn?
April: You don't know who she is?
Jesse: No idea
Ashley: She's my best friend. Tony's had a crush on her for so long!
Tony: No comment...
Jesse: Really?
Tony: No comment...
Ashley: Yeah!!!! Have you seen his diary?
Tony: What diary??! Hey wait, how do you know I have a 'journal', Ash?
Ashley: I'm a troublemaker, remember!?!
Tony: Right.
Jesse: No comment...
April: Would you stop saying that! He didn't even ask you anything!
Tony: Whoa! I forgot you were here!
April: *sarcastically* Thanks.
Tony: What!?!
Ashley: *phone rings* Oh, its Jaclyn. Hey... at the mall... April, Tony and Jesse... Ok! Bye! *hangs up*
Waitress: Oooooh! A double date!
Tony: Aaah! Where did you come from?!?
